Top 3 Master of Pwn at Pwn2Own Vancouver 2023

Pwn2Own is a computer hacking contest held annually by Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative - ZDI. Contestants are challenged to exploit widely used software and mobile devices with previously unknown vulnerabilities. Winners of the contest receive the device that they exploited and a cash prize. The total prize for each contest is up to millions of dollars.

The 2023 Spring edition of Pwn2Own (Pwn2Own Vancouver) was held from 22 Mar in Vancouver, Canada (offline and online). This contest have disclosed 27 unique zero-days and won a combined $1,035,000 (and a car) (Details)

Today, we are proud to announce that our Viettel Team with 4 researchers, Nguyen Xuan Hoang, Doan Phan Tung Duong, Do Manh Dung, Pham Van Khanh, have been successfully Pwned to the targets Microsoft Teams and Oracle VirtualBox. They have succeeded 2/2 attempts, got $115,000, 12 MoP points for team and got ranked 3nd Master of Pwn.
